Although every time I see "dontblink.mp3" on my desktop I get No Doubt's "Don't Speak" running through my head, I liked it - the bass break in the middle has a real Jaco Pastorius meets Mike Oldfield feel to it. Melinda's right, though - it's no "Good Morning Mr. Fish" for sure.

I didn't know my lack of Irish spirit would cause anyone such anguish. Maybe if I owned Harp socks too, I would have had a reason to remember that yesterady was St. Patricks Day, just so that I could have had a valid day to wear them. I'll have to listen to your new compositions when I get home. But I'm sure they are no "Good Morning, Mr. Fish" :)

Ahhhhh.... I remember the good old days of you using Compozer to write music. I remember trying a hand at it myself. There were some frustrations I had with it, but its ability to precisely place notes was always better than several annoying Windows music composition programs that I tried that always tried to "intelligently" help you place notes - failing miserably and aggrevating the user (me) to no end.I always wished you had re-written the program for Windows with a "standard" keyboard shortcuts and mouse support, but at least now we can still enjoy your work through the wonders of DOSBox. I should have thought of mentioning it to you a few years ago because I had to install it at NewEnergy when I was still working on PROMOD and was trying to examine a pre-NewEnergy version of the program that only ran in DOS.It's amazing that Will can get so addicted to Star Wars without actually having seen the films. You know there's a 3D animated movie coming out this summer, right? It's essentially the pilot of the new 3D animated Clone Wars TV series that debuts this fall on Cartoon network. It takes place somewhere between within the montage that shows time passing in the first episode of the second season of Clone Wars. In other words, it takes place after Anakin has become a Jedi Knight and grown out his hair, but before the core events of the last season of Clone Wars that led up to Episode III.So I guess you're one of those folks like Eric who will be showing their kids the films in the historical release order rather than in chronological order, eh? Kind of seems funny when you say that Will's favorite character is Jango Fett. Plus, I suspect that if you do show the films to Will while he is still pretty young, he will find it easier to sit through Episode I first rather than Episode IV as the young Anakin is a kid who kids can identify with more. But who knows? I wish you guys luck with his addiction though. I guess it's a good thing that Melinda and I didn't bring Will some Star Wars toys for his birthday.
